Joc Pečečnik

Renowned Slovenian entrepreneur and businessman who founded the Elektroncek Group, a successful company that specializes in investing in diversified business activities. He is also the president of the Slovenian Business Club (www.sbc.si), a prominent organization that brings together top Slovenian business owners to promote business cooperation and development. With a wealth of experience in the electronics industry, Pečečnik is widely recognized as a visionary and innovative leader who has made significant contributions to the growth and success of the Slovenian economy. His entrepreneurial journey began over three decades ago when he founded POS Elektronček d.o.o., a company producing computerized POS cash registers. As the company grew, he decided to sell it to his employees – for 1 euro – in order to focus on his new venture. He established Interblock d.o.o, a technology and manufacturing company in the gaming industry. Over the next 20 years, Pečečnik transformed Interblock into a world-class gaming manufacturing company with more than a 52% market share, a wide range of products, numerous awards, and more than 200 gaming licenses worldwide in 169 different jurisdictions. In 2022, the company was sold to the Canadian-American fund OAKTREE 9 for close to 500 million euros.
